School Tax Collection: Without penalty, Tuesday, September 3, to Monday, September 30. Two percent (2%) will be added to school taxes paid from October 1, through October 31. No taxes received or postmarked after October 31, 2024, shall be accepted.
School Taxes Unpaid After October 31, unpaid taxes will be submitted to the Wayne County Treasurer, for Wayne County residents, or to the Monroe County Director of Finance, for Monroe County residents, for levy and collection with the 2025 town and county taxes, at additional penalty. The Wayne County Treasurer's Office will no longer be collecting Village and School tax bills during the month of November. The last day for those tax bills to be paid will be October 31.
School Tax Payments: should be made payable to “Newark Central School District.”
School taxes may be submitted to the Tax Collector at the address above.
