Newark schools just opened September 6and the start of fall is nearly two weeks away. It may just seem waaaay too early to be thinking about marking our calendars for the upcoming holiday season, but as we all know, it’ll will be here before we know it.
So here’s a really great date to remember.
On December 2nd at 7 p.m., the incomparable Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra will again perform its musical magic in the Newark High School auditorium.
The event is once again being hosted by the Newark Central School District in conjunction with Wegmans, Lyons National Bank and the Greater Newark Chamber of Commerce.
It’s a great way to see and experience the RPO right here in Newark, at a much lower price than you’d pay to see this phenomenal orchestra in Rochester.
Before the concert, NHS musicians will perform in the auditorium.
The evening’s events provide our community with an enjoyable and relaxing beginning to the holiday season each year.
More information about the conductor, artists and ticket prices will be forthcoming, but right now it’s important just to set aside that date and time and plan on a memorable night out right here in Newark.
